Volunteers Needed!

The Raven Inn is a community run pub and can only guarantee to keep its doors open by means of the hard work of its unpaid committee and volunteers.
If you have a few hours to spare each week, or even just occasionally, we’d love to hear from you. Our team of happy volunteers report that they get a real buzz out of putting something back into the community via this Social Enterprise. Not only that but you will earn vouchers to exchange for delicious meals in the pub – treat your friends and family. We need help with all aspects of running the Raven including Bar Work, Kitchen Work and Waiting On, Marketing, Odd Jobs etc. etc. To apply, please download and fill in this form and hand it in at the bar. We’ll get back to you shortly.

The Raven In the News
American ex-pats magazine British Heritage have published this article about us: Saving the Village Pub
Needless to say, we've been making the news too. Newspapers, radio stations and television news crews have been covering the rebirth of The Raven Inn, in addition to the TwoFour TV production company that is recording the whole thing for a TV documentary.
The Daily Post had this to say: Raven Mad Flintshire Villagers Form Group To Run Their Local
The BBC have this video on their web site: Television deal opens village pub

Please come along and visit us, and tell us what we're doing right, what we're doing wrong and what we haven't yet thought of. We need to have feedback to make sure we continue to steer The Raven in the right direction.

We hope you will come along and meet the locals, support this community project and above all enjoy the hospitality.
